Over 16 Years of Combined Canteen Experience .......

Our experience in running, operating and supervising Canteens is extensive; a combined 16 years
of skills in different roles between the management team means that you can be assured that the
canteen is compliant with regulatory standards and will run efficiently and effectively.
Katerers 4 Kanteens has a multicultural staff team, the owners have a Greek, Cypriot and
Lebanese background. The team brings their multicultural knowledge of food and incorporates
the cultural background of the school community to provide food that is tasty and nutritious.
We were successful in winning the canteen tender for Hurstville Boys Public School. This has
been an extremely rewarding and successful venture allowing us to grow the business and hence
extend our reach to apply for the tender at your school. In addition to providing canteen services
to Hurstville Boys Public, we have been incredibly effective in providing catering services to the
Learning Management Business Reform office at the Hurstville Boys campus, who provide onsite
training to school staff from 70 schools in the Georges River and Marrickville Principal’s network.
Both Hurstville Boys and the LMBR would be very happy to provide a reference in support of this
tender application.

Being mothers, we have a sound understanding of dietary needs children and adolescents have,
as well as the importance of delivering fresh and affordable food every day. This is why all our
food is prepared and cooked on site daily.

In addition, we are always looking for ways to better our knowledge ensure we remain at the
forefront of industry changes by attending festivals, expos, information sessions and short
courses; all designed to keep us up to date with the current facts and new super food trends.
Children, staff, families and the community have the opportunity to contribute to the menu.
We employ only trustworthy individuals who hold a “working with children” clearance and have
recently been trained in the administration of an Epi pen – if the situation should ever arise.
